Corporate Function:

  • Management of SAIMS in SharePoint.
  • Management of Corporate Document Control in SharePoint.
  • Set up and management of Lesson Learnt Database.
  • Interface with other Departments and Projects for the management of archived documents.

Project Function:

  • Setup and manage the document management portal in SharePoint for the project.
  • Apply work according to the Project Document Control Plan, Systems and Procedures.
  • Liaise with Vendors, subcontractors and 3rd party DCs on Project Documentation.
  • Analyse and resolve DCM issues, and improve efficiency and execution of DCM requirements.
  • Ensure timely distribution of documents internally as per the approved distribution matrix.
  • Advise Document Originators on document formatting and templates used to comply with project requirement or with corporate standards.
  • Maintain both softcopy and hardcopy filings and control in accordance with the procedures or Project Document Control Plan.
  • All work performed to comply with Client’s requirements and final documentation hand-over to client.
  • Provide constructive suggestions to improve the Document Control Process


  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Information Management System, Business Studies or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a DC in the oil and gas projects.
  • Experience in managing the project EDMS from its setting up until handover to Client
